East Central Arkansas Community Corrections Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Edward Eaton to the rank of Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Eaton began his career with the Arkansas Department of Corrections on October 9, 2000, at the East Arkansas Regional Unit. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated versatility, dedication, and a commitment to serving the Department and the individuals entrusted to its care.
In 2008, Lieutenant Eaton was promoted to Sergeant at the East Arkansas Regional Unit, also serving as an ARO at East Arkansas for approximately one year before returning to security in 2017 as a Corporal at the McPherson Unit.
In 2022, Lieutenant Eaton expanded his experience by serving as the Think Legacy Specialist at the McPherson Unit. In January 2025, he returned to security as a Corporal and continued his advancement when he was promoted to Sergeant at the McPherson Unit in August 2025.
Today, East Central Arkansas Community Corrections Center proudly welcomes Lieutenant Edward Eaton to the leadership team.
His more than 25 years of service with the Arkansas Department of Corrections, along with his experience in security, supervision, recreation, programming, and reentry-focused work, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to East Central Arkansas Community Corrections Center.
