Just one week until the start of Summer Lunch & Fun 2026! We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and providing more delicious lunches this year.

The North Liberty Summer Lunch & Fun program returns this June. The program, which provides a free lunch and a daily activity for North Libertarians ages 0 to 18 every weekday during the summer months, will run Monday through Friday from June 15 through August 14. Due to the federal government shutdown, November SNAP benefits will not be issued.

You will still be able to use any remaining balance on your EBT card after November 1. You can check your EBT balance by calling the number on the back of your card, 800-359-5802, logging into your ConnectEBT account online, or using the ConnectEBT Mobile app. Iowa HHS will continue to process eligibility for the SNAP program at this time. If approved, SNAP cards will be mailed, but no benefits will be loaded onto the card if the shutdown is still in effect. Please visit hhs.iowa.gov/SNAP for updates.

Today is the last day of Summer Lunch & Fun 2025!
Don't forget, the last day means we'll be clearing out our fridge and freezer, so if you want to take some stuff home, bring a bag/cooler bag! AND don't forget to sign our giant thank you cards for all of the awesome people who make SL&F happen!

Today was Corryn's last day before she goes to college! She has worked at the Summer Lunch & Fun program since 2023 and she graduated high school this past May. She says she is going to major in history and plans to be a lawyer! Good luck, Corryn, thank you for all of your hard work!🎉🎉🎉
