Congratulations to Ms. Amata, our Computer Engineering Pathway Lead for House Nova, for being recognized through the Extra Yard for Teachers Recognition Program by CCSD and the College Football Playoff Foundation! This recognition celebrates educators who go the extra yard for their students and colleagues, and Ms. Amata does exactly that through her innovation, energy, and commitment to student success. Congratulations to Mr. Torres!! A total of 202 music teachers from 177 cities and 36 states have been announced as quarterfinalists for the Music Educator Award presented by the Recording Academy and Grammy Museum. In total, over 2,100 initial nominations were submitted.
