Tonight Tanker 8 was requested along with the Flammable Liquid Task Force by the Providence Fire Dept for a fuel truck rollover carrying 11000 gallons of fuel.

A-Shift recently conducted its annual aircraft live fire training at Logan Airport. All 3 shifts participate in this annual training once a year.

24 years ago today, Firefighter Paul Brotherton, Lieutenant Timothy Jackson, Jeremiah Lucey, Lieutenant James Lyons III, Firefighter Joseph McGuirk, and Lieutenant Thomas Spencer of the Worcester Fire Department made the ultimate sacrifice in a devastating five-alarm fire at the Worcester Cold Storage Warehouse. We honor their memory and recognize the loved ones who still mourn them.

A-shift incident. Tanker 8, Special Hazards, Crash 4&7 were dispatched to a trash truck on fire. The fire was quickly knocked down and no injuries were reported.
