North Hudson Vol. Fire Department

North Hudson Vol. Fire Department Established in 1958. The North Hudson Vol. Fire Department provides fire protection for the Town of North Hudson. Fire Department is 100 percent volunteer.

There is right around 25 active members. Fire Department responds to an average of 95 fire/ems related calls each year. Chief - Brian Caza

Last week we had our first EV car fire. It is important to note that this car hit the guard rails and did not randomly catch on fire while driving. All occupants were safe and out of the vehicle.

The call out shortly before Noon on February 23rd. We transportted the car to DOT in Schroon Lake shortly after 4:30 pm that day. This was a first for us and we are grateful for all of the departments that made it go smoothly.
