Her manager confirmed Nancy Wilson died peacefully Thursday after a long illness at her home in Pioneertown, a California desert community near Joshua Tree National Park.

as most of you know, Gold 5 graduated AmeriCorps NCCC yesterday and parted ways across the country. We want to thank everyone for following our journey and showing us all of your support. Here's what Gold 5 is doing in the future.

Kyle Johnson
LAA Plan: moving to a larger city and becoming a health information technologies technician.
Most missed: Gold 5’s sense of humor.

Danielle Fischler
LAA Plan: moving to Orlando, Florida with Hannah McAuliffe and getting a job in the non-profit sector.
Most missed: the good times while riding in the 15P and the red solo cup song (in a bad way.)

Evan White
LAA Plan: returning to the Pacific Region as a team leader in the fall.
Most missed: Gold 5 gravity hugs.

Hannah Blessing
LAA Plan: studying biology of natural resources at the College of Southern Idaho.
Most missed: having nine other people to share laughs and adventures with, no matter what.

Eddie Ham
LAA Plan: moving to Little Rock, Arkansas and attending community college
Most missed: being ourselves around each other and all the random laughs

Hannah McAuliffe
LAA Plan: moving to Orlando, Florida with Danielle Fischler, working fulltime, and earning her certifications to become a preschool teacher.
Most missed: everyone.

LAA Plan: going back to school as a music major and finding a job
Most missed: the closeness of the team

LAA Plan: starting prerequisites for nursing at Potomac State College of West Virginia University
Most missed: the free spirited attitude and the sense of humor of my teammates

LAA Plan: getting a job at Quad Graphics in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Most missed: all the stupid stuff we did

Carita Ricley
LAA Plan: moving back to New York, finishing her degree(s) in Environmental Sciences and Humanities, and pursuing her dreams of working with FEMA.
Most missed: my team, my Gold 5 family. the dance parties in the van, the countless crazy, absurd, and downright hilarious conversations, and always being able to count on a hug or an open ear when I need it the most.

the team is raising the walls of the house we've been working on for the past few weeks. We're going to miss Sheridan and all the people we met here a lot. Headed to Virginia City, MT bright and early tomorrow!
