North Haven Memorial Library Presents the Parent Resource Fair

The North Haven Library will host its seventh Parent Resource Fair taking place at 17 Elm Street on March 21st between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

This event provides access to a variety of local preschools, health care, summer camps, public services and more!

The Library is proud to host the Parent Resource Fair for the seventh time. The Parent Resource Fair is a great place for parents, grandparents or any caregivers to gather information and free handouts.

If you are a new parent, parent to be or new to town, the Parent Resource Fair is the place for you to learn more about many of your child care and health care options. This year, all participants will have the opportunity for a chance to win a Speed Puzzle Cube Set, a Tetra Tower Family Game, or Portable Bubble Machine.

The library will simultaneously be hosting an incredible magic show at 11:00 a.m. presented by Ed Popielarczyk located in the Children’s Department. No registration is required. Last week, we had the privilege of hosting the North Haven State of the Town Address featuring First Selectman Michael Freda — and what an incredible event it was!

The update was both informative and inspiring, highlighting the many positive strides happening throughout North Haven. From exciting economic development initiatives to forward-thinking plans that will shape our community’s future, the momentum in North Haven is strong and moving in the right direction. The pride in our town was felt throughout the room!

ATTENTION: A parking ban is in effect from 12pm Sunday until 12pm Tuesday 2/24/26.

If your car is on the street during the ban, it may be towed at your expense. The latest forecasts show this storm to likely be worse than the large storm we had several weeks ago. This storm also will bring a much heavier, wet snow, which comes with added challenges.

Avoid traveling Sunday evening into the early parts of Monday. Blizzard conditions are expected late Sunday night into Monday morning.

Accidents, medical calls, domestic violence, etc., don't stop during storms. Blocked roads can effect first responders response times. Do your part and follow the ban.
