Quinnipiac Law students studying abroad in Ireland had the opportunity to experience the Irish government in action during a visit to the House of the Oireachtas, Ireland's Parliament.

Accompanied by Alice Rosenthal, Assistant Dean of Experiential Education and Clinical Assistant Professor of Law, students toured Parliament and observed sessions in both the Dáil and the Seanad, gaining firsthand insight into Ireland's legislative process.

The visit included a conversation with Senator Aubrey McCarthy, who shared his personal journey and discussed his work in public service. He later treated the group to a pint of Guinness, capping off a memorable day!

This week’s "The Whole Lawyer. The Whole Story." spotlight features Abigail Centrella ’22.

As a student, Abigail was drawn to Quinnipiac Law’s Veterans Benefits Clinic and its partnership with the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. Through hands-on client work and experiential learning opportunities, she gained practical skills and firsthand experience advocating for veterans.

Those experiences helped shape her career path and prepared her for her current role with Glover Luck, LLP, where she represents veterans and continues the work she first explored in law school.
