North High's Cambridge AICE program will be expanding to 18 classes next year. New courses include AICE Psychology, AICE Sociology, AICE Graphic Design, AICE Drama, AICE International History, AICE Food Studies (think DE Nutrition), AICE U.S. History and AICE Business Studies. A little something for everyone, which means more ways than ever to earn an AICE diploma.

Did you know that during the 2009-10 school year, students at North earned a total of 730 industry certifications, by far the most of any school in Lee County? The list includes 271 certs for Adobe Photoshop CS4 and 356 for Microsoft Office 2007 apps, both tops in the district. In addition, 78 students earned an Adobe Flash certification, more than all other Lee County schools combined...

Did you know that North Fort Myers High School students earned a total of 2,365 free college credits during the 2009-2010 school year through the dual enrollment and early admissions programs? This represents a 56% increase from the previous year, and saved students a combined $311,000!
