Well, we sure are having some Wisconsin weather, but the Easter Egg Hunt is still on for tomorrow! With that said, the ground will be wet, and there is a small chance of rain, so please dress accordingly. The Easter Bunny will be there, and available for pictures in the warm, dry Community Center. See you tomorrow!

As the Spring season nears, our NFDL Optimist Club is preparing for our 6th Annual NFDL Optimist Golf Outing! We look forward to another great day of golf, fellowship and raising money to help the youth within our Village of NFDL.

Please mark this date on your calendar, share with your friends and family. We hope to see you once again at our NFDL Optimist Club Golf Outing at Rolling Meadows Golf Course on Friday June 19th!

Considering the extremely cold temperatures, the turn out for our Tri-Star basketball competition was amazing!! Thank you all for showing up! While we did recognize 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for all 12 groups, the sportsmanship and encouragement shown during the competition was the best part. It didnt matter who was competing, everyone cheered them on! Awards will be given out on February 17th, at halftime of the girls varsity senior night game. 1st place winners will compete at the District-wide competition on April 18th. Invitations will be sent for both events.

Yes, the Tri-Star basketball competition is still on for this evening! We know it's cold out, but gym availability is challenging this time of year, so we have to make the best of it. It will be nice and warm inside the Bessie Allen Gym! Doors open at 6:00 and the competition starts at 6:30.

Just 2 more days to wait! This Thursday is Tri-Star! Doors open at 6:00, and the competition starts at 6:30. We hope to see you at Bessie Allen Middle School!

Our next big event is just around the corner! Our annual Tri-Star basketball competition will be on January 22nd, at Bessie Allen Middle School. Forms will be distributed to local schools, but if one doesn’t come home, no worries. Just show up and fill out the form at the contest.

Last call!! It has been a great year at Optimist Park, and the lights have never looked better! If you haven't seen the lights yet, you have about 5 hours remaining. After tonight, we will be packing up the lights until next year. We hope that you have enjoyed the park and light show, and have a Happy New Year!
