The busy days of summer are winding down, and there's something nice about getting back into a routine — especially one that involves yarn, creativity, and good company.

Join us for Knitting Club every Wednesday from 2–4 PM. Bring your current project or start something new, like a cozy fall cowl!

Whether you knit, crochet, or are just curious about learning, all skill levels are welcome. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and spend the afternoon stitching with us. 🧶

🍁 Make Friday a Library Day! 🍁

As the leaves change and the days get cooler, we’ve got two ways to spend your Friday at the library.

☀️ 10–11 AM | Story & Playtime Hour
A morning of stories and play for ages 0–5, with LEGOs, puzzles, coloring, and more. Cozy seating and free coffee and tea are available for grown-ups, too!

🀄 3–5 PM | Mahjong Club
Experienced Mahjong players can join us in the afternoon for a few games and good conversation.

📚 Stories in the morning. Mahjong in the afternoon. Friday Fun all day long!

Book to Movie Club is Tomorrow!

Join us tomorrow, September 10, at 4 PM for a showing of Wonder Boys, based on the novel by Michael Chabon.

After the movie, we’ll gather for a discussion around 6 PM. We’ll talk about the book, the movie, the adaptation, and what we thought of both versions.

Haven’t finished the book? No problem! Everyone is welcome to join us, even if you’re just coming to watch the movie and be part of the conversation.

🍁🧶 A new season means a new project!

September is here, and it's a great time to start thinking about those handmade projects you'll want when the cooler weather arrives. Why not start a warm, cozy hat?

Bring your knitting or crochet and join us every Wednesday from 2–4 PM at the library. Experienced crafters and complete beginners are all welcome!

Come work on a project, learn something new, or simply spend a relaxing afternoon with other makers. Coffee and tea are available too!

Camp ReadS'more is coming to a close!

What a summer it's been! From books and adventures to crafts, animals, movies, and everything in between, we've loved spending the summer exploring Pond Life with all of our campers.

Before we officially close up camp, there's one last thing to do! Please bring your reading tracker to the library by Wednesday, September 9th at 5:00 PM to be considered for our Grand Prize drawing!

Don't leave your summer of reading sitting around - bring that tracker in and make sure all those reading adventures count!

This September, we’re diving into Wonder Boys by Michael Chabon — a funny, offbeat story about writers, unfinished novels, complicated relationships, and the unexpected messiness of life.

Read the book, then join us to watch the film adaptation and talk about how the story makes the jump from page to screen. What changed? What worked? What didn’t? And which version did you like better?
