I grew up in Schenectady, but summered in the Adirondacks, not far from Johnsburg. I spent time with my aging parents and became involved in EMS and Firefighting while working in a busy medical practice in Albany. In 1995 I married lifelong friend and love of my life, Jim Hogan. Shortly after, we moved to Long Island. I worked for plastic surgeons while Jim attended Stonybrook University, working
toward his Physician Assistant degree. While there, I became involved in victim’s rights advocacy and volunteered to work with victims of domestic abuse. We returned to upstate New York in 1997 to establish Jim in medical practice and to find the perfect place to raise children. Jim was offered a position in Ticonderoga in 2003 and we were excited to move to the Adirondacks, where we had both been spending summers, camping and hiking, since we were kids. In 2005 we found our house on Crane Mountain and moved in 2006. We are avid outdoor recreation enthusiasts and appreciate all that this area has to offer, from exceptional paddling to skiing, hunting and fishing. Since moving to Johnsburg, Jim and I have been involved in the Johnsburg Youth Committee, EMS, TREKS, Teens Only, Warren County 4H, Girl Scouts, the Johnsburg Library and the Adirondack Community Outreach Center. Our kids have participated in town soccer and baseball leagues, after school programs, teens only, Youth Committee activities - both summer and ski programs. I have proudly served this community as Supervisor since January 1, 2018. I love the work and the people of this town and have given this opportunity 110%.
