The 2023 Freedom Ride to the Meredith, NH POW/MIA Vigil event for the 100th Laconia Bike Week had the most riders in many years if not the most. The Vigil also had a very large crowd attending to pay their respects. They experienced the very emotional story by key note speaker, Rick Downs, who's Dad, USAF Lt. Harold Downs B26 went down over North Korea in 1952 during the Korean War and is still listed as "Missing in Action". It's been over 70 years and the pain of not knowing never goes away. We will never forget and will continue the pressure on our government to keep searching until they all come home.
