Delivery day for Lowell Fire Dept’s newest apparatus! 2025 Can-Am Defender Pro XT cab & chassis equipped with a custom aluminum firefighting skid, Whelen Core lighting package & our custom transmission sense module, rear suspension upgrade kit, dual battery kit, and backup alarm.
Firefighting skid specs:
Welded aluminum construction
Custom 80 gallon water tank
CET fire pump and manifold w/ 6HP Honda motor
Crosslay tray
Rear supply hose bed with folding cover and grab bars

Great to see our equipment in the field getting the job done!

Devens Firefighters are in Middleton with Engine 6 and the UTV are fighting the brush fire there. This is the maiden voyage for the UTV and our crew reports she did great.

Thank you to Chief Desautels and the Hudson, MA Fire Department for allowing us to build your custom brush truck firefighting skid! This unit features a custom 150 gallon poly water tank with 10 gallon foam cell, pump with foam injection, custom hose tray, hose rollers for the powered hose reel, and fabricated storage box mounting. -Fab
