👑🎩 Yesterday, we celebrated the wonderful fathers and father figures in our community at our Hats Off to Dad Luncheon!

Our gentlemen enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal prepared and served with love by the Carner Seasonal Committee: Karen Brown, Tonia Mallette, Stacey McGinnis, Wondia Richardson, and Monica Stanley. 💙

Each guest was treated like royalty with a crown, gift bag, raffle prizes, and a special "Getting to Know You" questionnaire. One of the highlights of the afternoon was hearing each gentleman share his answers with the group, giving everyone the chance to learn more about one another and share a few laughs along the way.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so meaningful. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with good food, great stories, and appreciation for the amazing men who help make our community so special.

🧵❤️ We were honored to welcome Mrs. Brenda Williams for a special Gullah Doll workshop!

Members, knowing about the history and cultural significance of these handmade dolls, were able to create their own unique keepsakes. The class was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Gullah traditions, learn something new, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and connection.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Williams for sharing her knowledge, talent, and a meaningful piece of our local heritage with us. We loved seeing everyone's beautiful creations come to life!

🎨☀️ Creativity was in full bloom at the center during our recent craft programs!

Members explored the art of sun printing, creating beautiful nature-inspired designs using sunlight and found objects, and got hands-on with clay to make personalized handprint dishes that were as unique as the artists who made them. 🌿💙

From trying new techniques to sharing laughs and conversation, these classes are always a wonderful opportunity to relax, express creativity, and enjoy time together. We love seeing the talent and imagination our members bring to every project!

👔✨ Creativity and community came together for our newest “Custom Crafts with Karen” class!

Members transformed men’s ties into stylish, one-of-a-kind necklaces through the art of upcycling — and the results were absolutely beautiful! 💜

We love seeing our members share their talents, creativity, and skills with one another. Programs like these are such a wonderful reminder that our center is filled with incredible people who inspire each other every day!

🌿 Life’s A Garden was a wonderful success today! 🌿

We had a completely full house for our succulent workshop with the Meiburgs, where members learned all about succulent care and propagation. Everyone left with four succulent cuttings and pots to start growing their own beautiful collections at home! 🪴✨

A big thank you to the Meiburgs for sharing their knowledge and love of plants with us. It was such a fun and engaging afternoon filled with learning, laughter, and creativity!

🎨✨ Creativity was blooming at the center these past two weeks!

Our members enjoyed getting crafty with Charmaine during a beautiful spoon candle holder project and relaxing with watercolor folk art tulip painting today. From painting and crafting to laughter and conversation, it’s always wonderful to see everyone expressing their creativity while spending time together. 💛🌷

Programs like these are a great reminder that art, relaxation, and community go hand in hand!

💐 Our “Made with Love” Mother’s Day Brunch was truly a beautiful celebration filled with love, laughter, and community.

Guests enjoyed a delicious charcuterie spread, relaxing painting activities, wonderful giveaway prizes from Mrs. Jennifaye, and a heartfelt surprise blessing from Tonique Grant and her mother, who chose to give back to the community in honor of Mother’s Day. Their kindness was truly appreciated and touched so many hearts. 💛

We also hosted a special Gently Used Hat Shoppe featuring donated hats in loving remembrance of Isadora Brown and Leola Pryor — a meaningful touch that made the day even more special.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a memorable celebration for the wonderful mothers and women in our community! 🌷
