You may have noticed our Police Officers last week participating in our Project Lifesaver Recertification training around the Borough. If you know anyone who has been diagnosed with Dementia, Alzheimers or Autism that has the potential of eloping or wandering, they may qualify for this lifesaving program. Currently there is no cost to enroll. If you would like more information, please contact our Project Lifesaver Coordinator at 610-437-5252.

The Northampton County Victim Services Office will be conducting an executive panel called “Aging with Dignity: Preventing Elder Abuse,” on Tuesday, June 23rd from 10:00–11:30am in the Courthouse Jury Lounge.

There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be provided.

As many of you have heard, the Catasauqua Summer Program recently had supplies vandalized and damaged.

After learning about the incident, we reached out to see how we could help. With a team effort between the North Catasauqua Police Association, the Catasauqua Fire Department, and the North Catasauqua Fire Department, we were able to obtain a list of needed items and quickly begin restocking their supplies.

This is just a small example of what can be accomplished when organizations come together to support our community. We hope these donations help the staff continue providing a fun, safe, and positive summer experience for the children in the program.

We wish everyone involved a great summer and appreciate all they do for our local youth.
