Carroll County was well represented Thursday night at the Greenwood Leflore Carroll Economic Development Foundation Annual Meeting & Dinner. Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs University of Mississippi Medical Center Dr. LouAnn Woodward who is a Carroll County native was the keynote speaker speaker.

SEWER UPDATE-NCWD
MARY St.
Please note: the sewer located on Mary St has been pumped and cleaned out. As we were cleaning the sewer line, we notice the following debris: wipes (of all sorts), rags, powdery laundry detergent, and grease. Please note, these items are causing the sewer to back up and overflow without fail. As a result this has and will increase the Town's expenses if the abuse continues.
Prevention: Please refrain from disposing the above items in the sewer system.
