It’s that time of year again - our Dream It, Be It camp is coming up on Monday, June 22nd, and we are excited to partner with Enrichment Arts Education Center!

This inspiring one-day program will focus on helping young participants explore their dreams and set meaningful future goals. Activities will include meeting with career and trade professionals, creating vision boards (or what we like to call dream boards), and engaging in discussions about common obstacles that can impact dreams—along with strategies for overcoming them and turning challenges and failures into success.

Participants will also enjoy creative, movement-based wellness activities including Zumba and yoga, integrating the arts into personal growth and self-discovery.

We are also pleased to invite parents of our Dream It, Be It participants to join us for dinner after, and an evening of connection and conversation.

Camp is FREE to attend and geared toward girls ages 12 and up. Register at the link below!

Today was a busy morning for our club!! While some of our members were running the Happy Hair Booth at the in Massillon, another one of our members was in Cleveland supporting Soroptimist International of Cleveland’s Great Chocolate Chase 5k!

We are excited to announce that one of our newest Soroptimist clubs out of Indiana, Soroptimist International of Hamilton County, is offering a brand new Educational Award that is open to women who reside all throughout our Midwestern Region! The Robert and Carol Carpentier Award will be awarded to women who:
-Reside in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin or Illinois.
-Are currently enrolled in OR planning to enroll in a certified educational program.
-Demonstrate volunteerism, community service, or otherwise participate in activities to benefit others, while displaying strong character and integrity.

Many of our members traveled to Columbus this weekend to attend our Midwestern Region conference. It’s always a great opportunity to meet or reconnect with members from other clubs, learn about ways we can grow our community involvement, and just get inspired and reinvigorated to continue our mission of helping women and girls!

Our members had a great time yesterday supporting MentorStark’s Walk & Talk event! This was a “Mega Mentoring Event” that connected young people with trained professionals from a variety of industries. Our community can always use mentors from all different fields. If this is something you are interested in, please connect directly with MentorStark and they can get you set up!
