Roadwork is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 14, 2026, on the following roadways: Mountain Place, Veazy Street, Barnsdale Road, Dogwood Place, Lilac Court, Green Place, Farmstead Road, and Morris Place. Roadway milling will take place on Monday and Tuesday, September 14-15. Paving will follow on Wednesday and Thursday, September 16-17. Construction hours are anticipated to be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All work is weather dependent, and the schedule may be adjusted due to rain, construction conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. During paving, vehicle access to individual properties will be temporarily restricted while asphalt is being placed and until it has cooled sufficiently to allow traffic. Residents are asked to follow the directions of police officers, DPW personnel, and the contractor while work is underway. Dear Residents - Due to anticipated inclement weather, we are unfortunately postponing the Concert at Walker Park previously scheduled for Thursday, August 27th. The new event date is Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The free event will feature the band Back in the Day, along with b**r garden and food truck amenities available for purchase.

The Borough was notified that PSE&G will be replacing gas mains within the Borough during the next few months. Work will take place on Smull Ave, Stonybrook Dr, Winding Way, Soder Rd, Dogwood Pl, Cypress Ave, Willow Lane, Balsam Pl, Hickory Dr, and Highland Dr. Motorists should expect road closures and detours during this time and should drive with extra caution. https://alrt.se/u/G1MIjsON4L

The estimated 3rd Quarter 2026 tax bills were mailed on June 29, 2026. All payments are due on August 1, 2026 with a 10 day grace period. If you have not received your tax bill, please visit www.northcaldwell.org (online payments) or call Borough Hall to request your tax amount.
