🚨 Join the Fight Against the Opioid Crisis in Chisago County 🚨

The Chisago County Opioid Action Council is seeking new members to help guide how opioid settlement funds are used to prevent opioid misuse, expand access to treatment and recovery supports, and strengthen community-based responses in our county.
We’re seeking members from a broad range of community sectors such as professionals, advocates, and individuals with lived experience to help guide community-centered opioid response efforts focusing on prevention, treatment and recovery, and support services in our community.

🗓 Accepting Applications June 15- August 2
📍 Monthly meetings | Two-year term beginning September 2026

Keeping kids safe starts at home!
With school out for summer, children and teens are spending more time at home, and that means it’s especially important to store all substances safely and securely.

Medications, commercial tobacco/vapes, cannabis, and alcohol should always be locked up and out of reach to prevent accidental poisonings, misuse, or experimentation. A few small steps can make a big difference in keeping your family safe.

📢 Public Meeting Notice

The Chisago County Opioid Action Council invites community members to attend our next public meeting on Thursday, June 18, from 4:30–5:30 PM at the Chisago County Sheriff's Office Conference Room (15230 Per Rd, Center City, MN 55012).

Anyone interested in learning more about local opioid prevention, treatment, recovery, and overdose prevention efforts is welcome to attend.
