Plastic plant pots cannot go in your recycling bin. Reuse them or check with your local garden centers to see if they take them back.

Gardening season is upon us! Please remember that plant pots and trays do not belong in your curbside recycling bin.

Many local garden centers and “big-box” home improvement stores accept/collect used plant pots to be reused again in future years.

Happy growing and thanks for keeping your pots out of your curbside bin!

Use pesticides responsibly.

Choose reduced risk pesticides that have a low impact on human health, low toxicity to non-target organisms (pollinators, birds, fish, plants), low potential for groundwater contamination, and low pest resistance potential.

Bring any unwanted or unused pesticides to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility where they can be properly disposed of and kept out of the environment.
