The 100th anniversary of Midsummer Days has started and will continue throughout this weekend!
As we prepare for this weekend’s events, motorists should expect increased traffic congestion and extra pedestrian activity throughout the area – especially on Sunday during the parade beginning at 2:00 pm.
Officers from North Branch Police Department will be out completing extra patrols to assist the traffic flow, safety, and event security.
Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, stay alert for pedestrians, and use patience while traveling through town. Several roads in the downtown area will be detoured Sunday afternoon starting around 1pm.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and hope you enjoy a safe and fun weekend!!!

Due to safety concerns stemming from the excessively wet ground and slippery ride platforms, Family Fun Shows has made the decision to reschedule opening the Central Park carnival to tomorrow. All wristbands purchased for tonight will be honored tomorrow afternoon, with the same schedule as originally planned.
