The Township of North Bergen is offering a summer camp program for children ages 6–12, providing a fun and structured environment with activities throughout the month of July. Registration opens June 4, 2026, and is limited to the first 100 children per site, with several convenient camp locations available exclusively for North Bergen residents.

We came together to honor the brave men and women who served our country with courage and sacrifice. From powerful words to an incredible performance by the North Bergen High School Marching Band, it was a meaningful Memorial Day ceremony filled with pride, remembrance, and community. 🇺🇸

God bless our troops, our veterans, and the North Bergen community.

Congratulations to Rafael Rivera on becoming the first recipient of the Ralph Marino Courage Scholarship Award, presented by the Hudson County Basketball History and Legends Club. Rafael, a proud North Bergen resident, suffered a life-changing injury in 2023 that left him paralyzed, with doctors saying he may never regain movement from the neck down. But through faith, determination, and relentless rehabilitation, Rafael refused to accept the odds. Today, he is able to stand with assistance and even eat on his own. We are incredibly proud of Rafael here in North Bergen, and we are grateful to see him become a true beacon of hope and inspiration for our community.

Mayor Nicholas Sacco, the Board of Commissioners, and County Commissioner Robert Baselice invite the community to attend North Bergen’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Thursday, May 21 at 6 p.m. to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country.

The ceremony will take place at the North Bergen Recreation Center located at 6300 Meadowview Avenue. Everyone is invited to attend this annual free event. Light refreshments will be served.
