Today, Director of Emergency Services Fran Manfredo proudly appointed North Bay Fire Department Fire Chief Joe Matthews as Deputy Fire Coordinator for Zone 4.

Chief Matthews brings a wealth of experience and is a highly respected leader within the fire service. His knowledge and dedication will be a tremendous asset in this role.

A benefit to support Nelson is planned for November 9, 2025, from 1 PM–6 PM at the Verona Fire Department.
