🚧 ROADWAY ASPHALTING NOTICE 🚧

The City of North Augusta Public Services Department advises motorists that the eastbound lane in the 100 Block of W. Five Notch Road will be temporarily reduced to one lane on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM as crews asphalt a damaged section of roadway.

⚠️ Motorists should expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, and drivers are asked to follow all flaggers and traffic control devices.

The City of North Augusta will be conducting scheduled mosquito control fogging in Zone 4 on: Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Fogging will take place during the early morning hours, weather permitting, to help reduce the mosquito population and protect public health throughout the community.

Please refer to the attached Zone 4 map for the coverage area and upcoming scheduled fogging dates for Zone 4.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – CENTER STREET 🚧

Please be advised that a portion of Center Street will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

📍 The closure area is highlighted in red on the attached map.

To help access Riverside Village during the closure, motorists are encouraged to use the designated alternate routes shown in green:

➡️ Alternate Route #1: Riverside Blvd to Railroad Ave
➡️ Alternate Route #2: Crystal Lake to Railroad Ave

UPDATE: Traffic light was reset by SCDOT and is working at this time.

Use caution approaching the intersection of Georgia Avenue & Center Street near the municipal building. The traffic light is in a constant flashing mode. Local efforts to reset the light weren't successful, and SCDOT has been dispatched to reset the light.

🚧 LANE CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

The City of North Augusta Public Services Department advises motorists that the eastbound lane in the 100 Block of W. Five Notch Rd. will be temporarily reduced to one lane on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for utility work in the roadway.

⚠️ Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use caution while traveling through the area. Please follow all flaggers and posted traffic control devices.
