Honors Chemistry Mole Day Celebration

Happy Mole Day from Fox Creek High! 🧪🐀 Our Honors Chemistry students absolutely "molar-ized" the competition today with their incredible Make-A-Mole projects.

We celebrated Avogadro’s number (6.02 x 10²³) in style with custom-made plush moles, intense games, and a whole lot of chemistry pun-filled fun. Congratulations to our official award winners who went above and beyond with their creativity!

Project Highlights:

Most Creative Mole: AJ Hemm “Demoleition”
Best Themed Mole: Jackson Windham “Darth Mole”
Most Outrageous Mole: Carter Wimberly “Travis Mole”
Funniest Mole: Trenton Ellis “Don-Mole-Trump”

Our "Guess the Moles in a Jar" winner was Jackson Windham who had a sharp eye for estimation! And a huge shoutout to Haidin Harmon for winning the vote for the funniest mole joke.

Whether they were hand-sewn or carefully glued, these moles are a testament to the hard work and "elemental" talent of our amazing students.

🌳Last week, Mrs. Hatchett's Ag Science class took their learning outside. For their end-of-year capstone, students were tasked with the full restoration of our campus picnic table. From identifying the physical properties of the wood to applying protective finishes, they’ve seen this project through from start to finish.

FCA invites all seniors and their families to the FCHS Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 17th, at 5:00 in the gym. Jackson Kirkbride and the student praise team will lead worship, and Pastor Adam Ellis from North Augusta Church will be our guest speaker. It is not a required event, but all graduates and their families are invited to attend! Seniors, please wear your cap and gown if you will be attending.

Yesterday, Mrs. Aycox and her yearbook staff were awarded GOLD by Jostens in their National Yearbook Program of Excellence! This program awards yearbook committees and their sponsors for meeting deadlines, creativity and sales.

Congratulations to Mrs. Aycox and her staff! Well done! The yearbook is amazing! 👏🏼🏅🎉
