Last night's ceremony was very well received and very well attended. People from all over came to Zadroga Field to honor and respect the lives we will never forget.

You all know by now how proud I am of our local athletes. This guy here, I've known since birth, and he is set to make North Arlington very proud.

He's participating in a boxing tournament in Cleveland and will be the "Pride of NA" while doing so.

They are seeking advertisement purchases to fund his journey.

Please pass this along to local residents, businesses and professionals who share our enthusiasm.

The Borough of North Arlington has recently been featured in BusinessView Magazine as one of New Jersey's Premier Communities.

We are all proud of our hometown and continue to strive to make it better. It's nice to see others noticing too.,

As we all travel trough town in the next few weeks, please remember there will be students walking to and from school, some for the first time.

They don't always look out for you, so please look out for them.

Also, try to keep crosswalks clear.

Too often we notice parents parked in a crosswalk to pick up their kids, but at the same time create an unsafe situation for other kids.

Sometimes it's best to put out a reminder of these things.

As students head back to school, we ask all motorists to please use extra caution and help keep our children safe.

👀 Watch for children walking to and from school.

🚗 Obey all traffic patterns and regulations around our schools.

🚫 Please do not double park or block driveways during student drop-off and pick-up.

🛑 Please respect and follow the directions of our crossing guards and School Resource Officers.
