ππ Celebrating Service and Achievement ππ
Every winter, Northern Berkshire EMS staff partners with Williams College to teach a Winter Study EMT course for Williams students. Through this program, students earn their EMT certification while balancing the demanding academic workload associated with one of the nation's most prestigious colleges.
Each year, some graduates of the Williams College EMT program choose to put their training into practice by serving as EMTs with Northern Berkshire EMS. In addition to their academic commitments, they dedicate their free time to helping the residents and visitors of Northern Berkshire County during some of their greatest times of need.
This past Sunday, the Williams College Class of 2026 celebrated their graduation. Northern Berkshire EMS was proud to provide EMS coverage for the commencement ceremonies, helping to ensure the safety of graduates, families, and guests. This year's graduating class included several current and former Northern Berkshire EMS EMTs, making the day especially meaningful for our organization.
