🚒🏠 What an amazing day at our Smoke Alarm Outreach Blitz!

I had the opportunity to walk through the Norris Hills neighborhood alongside the Norristown Fire Department, helping install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors for residents who needed them. More importantly, we had the chance to connect with neighbors, hear their stories, and help make our community a little safer—one home at a time.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us into your neighborhood and to the dedicated firefighters who helped to make this event a success. It was a great day, and I’m already looking forward to the next blitz❣️

Last evening, the Governor’s Center for Local Government Services GCLGS presented to Municipal Council the completed fire service study for the Norristown Fire Department. This study was requested by the Municipality. This project included completing significant research and data collection which occurred in the summer of 2025. The GCLGS
lead Fire Peer Consultant conducted the necessary field work related to this project and subsequently completed this report. A copy of the report can be seen at www.Norristownfire.org
