Last Tuesday, September 1, our Hancock family came together for Jazzy Spirit Day in honor of Mrs. Burruss and the lasting impact she has had on our school community.

It was a beautiful day filled with school spirit, smiles, and special moments as we celebrated her memory and the joy, kindness, and love she shared with so many.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating her life and the special place she will always hold in our Hancock family.

Her smile, her kindness, her love, and her spirit will continue to live on in our school community. 💙

🎒 First Grade & New Student Preview! 📚

The 26-27 school year is about to start and we are so excited to welcome our new and returning families to Hancock Elementary School! Whether your child is stepping into first grade or joining us as a brand-new student, this preview is the perfect way to kick off the school year.🌟

What to expect:
- Discover and tour the school 🏫
- Connect with our staff and all students new to Hancock 👋
- Drop off school supplies early so you're all set for day one! ✏️

🗓️ Date: August 27th⏰ Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM⚠️

Important Reminder: This event is strictly for incoming first graders and students who are entirely brand new to our school building. It is not for returning students who have already attended Hancock. While we are so excited to see you all, returning 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders will need to wait until the official first day of school to come back to the building.

📞 New 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Graders: If your student is brand new to Hancock entering the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade, please call the school office ahead of time to notify us that you are coming.

As another wonderful school year comes to an end, all of us at Hancock Elementary would like to wish our students and families a happy, safe, and relaxing summer! ☀️🌴📚

Thank you for a fantastic year filled with learning, growth, laughter, and memories. We are so proud of all that our students have accomplished and can't wait to see what they achieve next year.

A few of our final attendance winners for the school year! 🎉 These students were recognized for their outstanding commitment to being at school every day and were rewarded with Dave & Buster's gift cards. 🎮🏆

We are especially proud of one student who achieved perfect attendance and did not miss a single day of school all year! 👏📚
