If there are repeated violations from a user, then administrators of the Montgomery County Office of Public Health will ban participation on platforms that permit

🚨 UPDATE: THE CODE BLUE WEATHER EMERGENCY HAS BEEN EXTENDED AGAIN. The Code Blue originally issued on Tuesday, January 14, at 9 p.m., will be further extended to Sunday, February 2, at 9 a.m.



A Code Blue cold weather emergency has been declared for the period beginning TONIGHT, Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 9 p.m. and ending on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 9 a.m.

During this time, either the temperature or the wind chill is expected to be at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit for two or more hours.

A Code Blue is declared in Montgomery County when winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter.

Residents of Montgomery County who need emergency shelter during a Code Blue can call the Your Way Home Call Center at 610.278.3522.

So far in 2024, 107 children have been left unattended in vehicles that were stolen with them inside in the U.S., according to Kids and Car Safety.

Even in the safest neighborhoods, car thefts can happen in seconds, especially when vehicles are left running or unlocked. Most incidents happen at convenience stores, residential driveways, and places where thieves know people feel safe leaving their vehicle momentarily unattended.

Never leave children unattended in vehicles, even for a minute.
