Last week, OU Law clinic students took the oath to become licensed legal interns—marking an important milestone in their legal education—followed by an evening of dinner and meaningful conversation with local judges.

The University of Oklahoma College of Law marked the 75th anniversary of Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher’s graduation by bringing students, faculty, staff, and alumni together to reflect on her character, her impact on legal education and the responsibility all lawyers carry.

Thank you to Judge David Lewis, Oklahoma historian Dr. Bob Blackburn, and Professor Carla Pratt for helping us honor Dr. Fisher’s enduring legacy and inspiring future lawyers to carry it forward. The College of Law was also honored to have members of the Fisher family in attendance for this event.
