I want to say thank you to the Midwest City Beacon today for hosting the Primary Candidate Forum for those seeking office in SD42 and HD95. It was certainly enlightening to see those vying for the Republican nomination in their respective races.

And true to form, HD95's sitting representative, Max Wolfley, declined to participate. I too have had opportunities with my previous runs for office to have debates and other "equal time" opportunities with the public and our constituents. Mr. Wolfley has declined to participate in those as well without so much as a plausible excuse. It begs the question, if he is not speaking at these events, how is he speaking to his peers on the floor of the legislature to represent us?
