Tammy and Leslie's wedding anniversary was yesterday. She stayed by his side at the hospital every night she wasn't working. Leslie was such a lovely man who was full of humor, kindness, and wisdom. He'd always sit down and chit chat or share a laugh with his quick wit and friendly smile. Now with a few days until Christmas, Tammy is trying to piece together the next steps as a widow.
This fundraiser was put together by some of her co-workers. The first priority is to make arrangements for Leslie. If we go over the goal amount, we would love to help her pay for expenses to get her back on the road with a new DL, car insurance, etc. An absolute Christmas miracle would be to fundraise enough to get Tammy into her own place and out of her current shelter bed. It's definitely what Leslie would want for his bride of so many years.
