Beginning June 24, 2026, water utility customers of the City of Norman will be able to utilize the MyUtility Customer Portal to:
• View consumption data
• Monitor usage trends over time
• View and pay bills online
• Set text message reminders
• Access transaction and payment history
• Download and analyze water usage
• Set usage thresholds and receive leak alerts

The MyUtility Customer Portal is the final phase of the Meter Infrastructure Program for the City of Norman, a multi-year project intended to improve overall control and convenience for residents.

During meter installations and system learning, staff was able to notify customers of abnormal usage and help them get ahead of unforeseen issues. This was the case for Connie in South Norman, who contacted the City of Norman to share her positive experience.

Although the City will not directly monitor usage trends or amounts for customers after launch, residents will have the ability to do this independently and even set alerts as certain thresholds through the MyUtility Customer Portal. Learn more at https://www.normanok.gov/MyUtilityPortal

The Norman Utilities Authority is announcing the upcoming launch of a new online MyUtility Customer Portal as part of the Norman Meter Infrastructure Program (MIP). This milestone marks the final phase of the City’s multi-year effort to modernize its water metering system and enhance the customer experience.

The MyUtility portal will go live on June 24, 2026, replacing the City’s current online utility account system. The existing portal will be temporarily unavailable all day or for most of the day on June 23, 2026, while the transition occurs. On June 23:

-While the transition occurs, phone payments and online payments will be unavailable.
-Customers may still make payments during this time by cash or traditional check at the City’s Development Center, 225 N. Webster.
-If a payment has been automatically set up to process on June 23, prior to June 23, that payment will still process normally.

Customer Service staff will be flexible and accommodating during transition week, and will be available to answer any incoming questions, to help ensure a smooth rollover for the community.

With the meter upgrades now nearing completion across the community, customers will begin to see the full benefits of the MIP. The new portal provides secure, 24/7 access to account information and water usage data, giving customers greater visibility into their consumption and helping them identify potential issues such as leaks or unusually high usage.
