Agency Update! 📢

OEM has updated our Area Coordinator boundaries to create more balanced areas of responsibility and make sure emergency managers across the state receive consistent, effective support 🤝

This comes after expanding our field staff from four coordinators to eight last year, reducing the number of counties assigned to each coordinator to provide more direct support to local emergency management programs. This latest update adjusts the area boundaries to create a more balanced workload among field staff and support consistent service to emergency managers statewide.

Scattered thunderstorms are ongoing across parts of our area and will continue this afternoon.

Always a good time to remember: if you're close enough to hear thunder, it's time to move inside.
