"Beary" huggable 💗
A big thank you to The NASCAR Foundation for donating these cuddly bears through the Speedy Bear Brigade, a program that provides the stuffed animals and activity kits to children in hospitals across North America. The bears arrived just in time for our patients to celebrate National Teddy Bear Day with their very own bears!

Timothy was showing some amazing toothbrushing skills while working on a daily living activity with Jade Hendershot, an outpatient Registered Behavior Technician in our ABA program. Timothy brushed his teeth, while Jade counted down the seconds for him.

Carley Leonard, a speech-language pathologist, recently conducted a hearing screening with Dallas. To show Dallas the process beforehand, Carley also did a screening on herself and Nancy the doll!

Norman Conquest benefits camp 🚲
Camp Claphans Director Bobbie Hunter, center, receives a $14,000 donation from members of the Bicycle League of Norman! The money was raised through the annual Norman Conquest bike ride that is hosted by the bicycle league in July.
This year's event included nearly 300 cyclists riding different routes in Cleveland County. A huge thank you to the cyclists, volunteers, donors and to the members of Bicycle League of Norman for your incredible generosity toward our camp program!

A great 'fore'-cast ⛳
Thank you to Cumulus Media for helping to spread the word about our golf tournament on Sept. 28!
Luke Greenfield, a golfer in the tournament and a parent of an outpatient, and Abbi Fuller, the center's events coordinator, were interviewed by Anthony Vigil with Cumulus Media about the fun in store at the tournament and the help it offers to our Intensive Therapy Program.
The center also received a donation of a beautiful handcrafted bench from Douglas Grein and a lovely quilt made by Gwyn Honeycutt that will be used as a raffle item in the tournament.

Free therapeutic screenings
