Normal Township is pleased to announce it has been appropriated $300,000 through the Build Illinois Bond Fund, administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), for capital improvements at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) for adults age 55+ and Normal Township Hall.

The funding was secured through the efforts of State Senator Dave Koehler Il-91 (D), who advocated for the investment to help strengthen facilities that serve residents throughout the township.

The appropriation will support critical capital improvements that will enhance services, improve accessibility, and help ensure that both facilities continue to meet the needs of the community for years to come.

Thank you so much Senator Koehler and the State of Illinois!

The Normal Township Board is excited to unveil our plans for our capital improvements later this summer!
