Today, our department joins the community and the nation in honoring members of the Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country, and the loved ones who carry their loss.

They are remembered this Memorial Day and always with gratitude and respect. 🇺🇸

Sunday’s Miracle League game was something special. ⚾💙

We had an amazing time cheering on the athletes and spending the afternoon with some incredible families and volunteers behind the Corn Crib.

Thank you to the The Miracle League of Central Illinois for creating such a special opportunity for athletes of all abilities to play, connect, and shine. We’re grateful we could be a small part of it!

Hands-on learning, community connections, and a behind-the-scenes look at policing. 🚔 We're proud to partner with University High School, Normal IL through this internship program!

A unique partnership between University High School and the Illinois State University Police Department allows seniors to step "behind the badge" for 90 hours of hands-on experience in operations and community outreach.

Officer Burcy was officially sworn in last week and joins ISUPD as a lateral officer. He is also a proud 2019 ISU alum and is excited to return to campus and serve the community.

Every May, National Police Week gives us a moment to pause and remember the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

At ISUPD, we reflect on the experiences of our officers who have visited the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. Seeing the names etched in stone is a powerful reminder that each one represents a person, a family, and a life dedicated to serving others.

This week and every week, we are grateful for their service and sacrifice. 💙

Officer Walker and Officer Stevens have each other’s backs, and all week long, so does our entire team. 💪

Move-out and graduation mean long days, busy traffic, and a lot happening behind the scenes to keep everything moving. We’re incredibly thankful for our officers putting in the extra hours to help students and families get where they need to go safely, and to all the parents and families for your patience along the way.
