Lindenwood/Cottage Heights/Barraud Park Civic League The Lindenwood/Cottage Heights/Barraud Park Civic League is comprised of residents of 3 neighboring communities with one common goal ~ UNITY Julian Ave.

The Lindenwood/Cottage Heights/Barraud Park Civic League meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month with the exception of June & July. Meetings are held at alternating locations, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2401 Ludlow St. and New Union Chapel, 1200 St. both at 7PM. Any resident, business owner or church/school organization may join the Civic League by paying their $10 dues at any monthly meeting.

Community Update 🌟

Last week, at our civic league meeting we were honored to welcome Vice Chair of the School Board Alfreda Thomas, Councilman Carlos Clanton, Norfolk Parks and Recreation who provided valuable updates on Barraud Park and other initiatives within Superward 7.

We were also privileged to hear from our Ward 3 School Board Special Election candidates — Dr. Jodi Slaughter and School Board Member Jason Inge — as they shared important insights and information about their vision for our schools and community.

We thank all our guests for their time, dedication, and commitment to serving Norfolk! 💙
