The dig-out continues in Norfolk today. Thankfully there were no serious emergencies or power outages during the storm and a huge thank you goes out to our local plow crews that spent over 24 hours in their trucks during the height of the storm. But I know everyone wants to know the official snow total as measured at our NWS Co-Op Weather Station Norfolk 2SW and reported to US National Weather Service Albany NY. Russell Russ measured 14.2 inches of snow during the Blizzard. We received 200 guesses for our contest and 15 of you came within .5 inches. However, McNinch Krystal was the winner getting it exactly right with Melody Reed Presbie guessing 14.25 for a very close 2nd place. In 3rd place we have a tie between Michelle Padua and Linda Creedon who both guessed 14.3 inches. If you would like to claim your prize, just DM us through this account and we will let you know how to pick them up. Lastly, thanks to Ryan Craig and the Berkshire Country Store for donating the prizes and thank you for playing and we hope Springtime is near.
