(29 JAN 26) RIJEKA, CROATIA. Sailors onboard USS LEWIS B. PULLER (ESB 3) along with MSC crew members took part in a Damage Control Training Team (DCTT) exercise conducted in coordination with firefighters from Viktor Lenac Shipyard Fire Brigade. These monthly fire drills have strengthened our emergency response capabilities by integrating shipboard personnel with shore-based firefighters in a realistic, onboard Damage Control scenario.

Chaplain Riley engaged with the crew by conducting religious services and providing mentorship and pastoral support while onboard.

Culinary Specialist First Class Petty Officer Justin Singletary along with Sailors from the USS LEWIS B PULLER led a volunteer working at the Rijeka Animal Protection Society Dog Shelter. The team assisted with the beautification and maintenance efforts, strengthening ties with the local community.

The USS LEWIS B PULLER (ESB-3) DCTT leads the command in weekly Damage Control training team environments ensuring the USS LEWIS B PULLER (ESB-3) Sailors are prepared for real world emergencies while forward deployed.
