Domestic violence can happen in gay male relationships—and too often, it’s not talked about. 🧡

Many survivors worry they won’t be believed, won’t find services that fit, or will be told it’s “not the same” when men are involved. But abuse is abuse—and silence can keep people trapped.

“Men Who Beat the Men Who Love Them” helps break that silence and name what’s happening, so survivors—and the people who care about them—can recognize the signs and seek support. 📘

Because every voice in our community deserves to be heard, we choose Hope B-4 Silence! 💜🎤

And great news, we are taking the bingo show on the road! If you are interested in hosting Hope B-4 Silence: A Music Bingo Night for DVAM, let us know! We bring the mic, the music, and the magic; you just need to supply the space.

Behind closed doors, domestic violence causes deep physical and emotional trauma, impacting families right here in our own neighborhood. It thrives in quiet isolation! Standing up together is the essential first step toward breaking the cycle!

Hosting a music bingo night helps us turn up the volume on awareness, break the silence, and show local survivors they aren't alone.

If you or someone you know needs support, confidential help is available 24/7 at 877-379-3798.

Survivors deserve safety. Survivors deserve support. Survivors deserve solidarity. Survivors deserve ACTION.

Office Closure Notice

It is with great sadness that we share that our Norfolk and O’Neill offices will be closed on October 1, 2026, so our staff may attend the funeral services for David Olson, beloved husband of our Executive Director, Linda Olson.

We are keeping Linda and her family in our thoughts during this difficult time and appreciate everyone’s understanding as our staff takes this time to support her and honor David’s life.

Our Ainsworth office will remain open and can be reached at 531-776-5050.

An advocate is also available through our 24-hour crisis line at 877-379-3798.

Thank you for your understanding and compassion.

Be sure to stop by and say hi! Come grab some free resources, hang out, or just chat with everyone at the event.
