Virginia is launching Summer EBT, a program that provides a one-time benefit of $120 for each eligible school-aged child, for grocery purchases. Benefits will be issued by The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) on a rolling basis, starting on August 9, 2024. Some households will receive benefits in an existing EBT account. Others will receive a Sun Bucks card in the mail. Eligibility requirements for SUN Bucks are different than they were for P-EBT, and different from the 2023 Summer EBT.

For more information, visit: https://www.npsk12.com/Page/16077.

NOTE: Summer EBT is offered in addition to no-cost meals provided by NPS' Department of School Nutrition utilizing the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
