We had back-to-back fun at Homeschool Friday today. First we made music roll snakes (does everyone call them 'music rolls' or is that just a south-east PA thing?) then we painted some of our previously crafted clay busts. There are two weeks left to HsF before everyone goes on vacation... until they return for Summer Reading Fun on July 8th!

JOIN LIBRARY CLUB!

(Here are the challenges our club members received in June)

Library Club is a fun, low-commitment, activity for your child in grades K-3. Each month, we will e-mail you a short list of exciting challenges that your child can accomplish all on their own. Each activity will be engaging & educational and will help build confidence, independence, STEAM skills and creativity.

There is no grading, scoring or regular meetings, but all participants will be encouraged to stop in the Library to show us what they chose to do with the prompts.

There's nothing to lose and so much to gain by giving it a try... and of course, it's all free. If you want to see if your child enjoys the club, sign up to receive this once-a-month email. You can opt-out at any time. Our first one will be sent out on June 1st. Sign up by emailing [email protected] and include the words "Library Club" in the Subject.

** As a Library, we are bound by law to honor your privacy and none of your family's personal information is EVER used in any way without your explicit consent. **

Story hour today, we read 'Fran's Flower' by Lisa Bruce. For the craft, we made yarn flowers. I bet these kiddos won't make the same silly mistake as Fran and try to feed their flower pizza.
