This past weekend, Top Hatters Sea Cadets Squadron had the privilege of supporting the Hampton Roads Naval Museum during their naval history and heritage event.
Our cadets were proud to serve the community through hands-on outreach—assisting with shipbuilding registration, leading arts and crafts stations, and engaging directly with attendees of all ages. Events like these allow our cadets to bring history to life while developing leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
During the event, our cadets also had the opportunity to meet Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, a strong supporter of youth development and our Sea Cadet program. We are grateful for her continued support and interest in the next generation of leaders.
The Naval Sea Cadet Corps and Navy League Cadet Corps are built on the values of service, citizenship, and personal growth. Opportunities like this not only strengthen our connection to naval heritage, but also reinforce our commitment to serving others.
Thank you to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum for hosting such a meaningful event and allowing our cadets to be a part of it.
Bravo Zulu to our cadets for representing the program with professionalism and pride!
