Norco Mounted Posse The Norco Mounted Posse is an all-volunteer organization which promotes charitable and public services for the community.

The Norco Mounted Posse was originally formed in 1964 as the "Norco Police". The group provided law enforcement to the community until 1979 when the city incorporated and contracted full time deputies from the Riverside County Sherriff's Department. Since then, the Mounted Posse continues to work closely with the Norco Sherriff's Department, providing services within the city and surrounding communities.

NORCO, LET’S CELEBRATE AMERICA & RODEO TRADITION! Saddle up — we’re gearing up for a milestone year! We’re proudly celebrating 40 years of Professional Rodeo in Norco and 250 years of America — two traditions built on grit, freedom, and the cowboy spirit that runs deep in this community. 🤠🐎
The Norco Mounted Posse has put together a full lineup of events to honor our western heritage and the red white and blue pride that makes Norco special. From pre rodeo parties and watch parties to the PRCA Rodeo Weekend, the cattle drive down 6th Street, youth rodeo camp, live music, dancing, and more — we’re ready to celebrate like only Norco can. So come visit Horsetown USA for an amazing experience!

The NMP Board attended the Chamber of Commerce Awards and Installation Dinner, where the Norco Mounted Posse was honored to be nominated for Equestrian Organization of the Year.

While we did not take home the award, it was a privilege to be recognized among so many outstanding organizations that help make Norco such a special community. This nomination reflects the dedication, volunteerism, and hard work of our entire membership.

We would like to extend congratulations to the Norco Horsemans Association. An organization that represents Norco and all our events and an all facets of our community.

Thank you to each and every one of our posse members for their continued support and commitment to the Norco Mounted Posse. We are all proud to represent our community and look forward to continuing our mission of preserving and promoting Norco’s equestrian lifestyle.
