Learning, leadership, and student voice in action! 🌟

This week, members of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council visited the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for a day of learning, exploration, and connection. A highlight was the immersive Situation Room Experience, where students stepped into leadership roles, worked collaboratively, and made critical decisions in response to a simulated national crisis.

Students were joined by Superintendent Dr. Gadelmawla and staff from the English Learner and Equity Department.

The council elevates student voice and gives students an opportunity to help shape district initiatives, policies, and practices. We’re proud to empower our students to share their perspectives, strengthen their leadership skills, and make an impact! 💙

🚨REMINDER🚨

🛴 Safe rides start with smart choices. Whether you're riding to school or heading home, wear your helmet, stay alert, and know the law.

🚗 Drivers, please stay focused, slow down near school zones, and watch for students on scooters, bikes, and on foot. Together, we can keep every student safe on their journey to and from school.

🌟 Success starts with showing up.

🏫 A missed school day can mean missing a lesson, a conversation, a new connection or a moment that helps a student move forward. Being present gives students the chance to make the most of their school experience, one day, one opportunity, and one step at a time.

📚 Make attendance a priority. Make every day count.✨
