Visiting Parkridge Elementary was so much fun! These site visits are definitely becoming one of my favorite things to do! Principal Verdugo and AP Orozco showed off their school but the adorable TK and Kinder kiddos stole the show!! Notice the vending machines in the photo behind us… SO COOL!!! We were introduced to the Radio Club (pictured) and I discovered that Parkridge is the only school in the district with this radio and the kids love it! I learned how to send an SOS signal, but let’s hope I never have to use it!

My first official site visit was an absolute blast this morning! Norco Intermediate is not only my Alma mater, but my dad’s too! I even found his 1965 yearbook photo! Big thanks to Principal Shainman and AP Juniper for the lovely tour. It was fabulous to see the major upgrades and even run into my former teacher, Mr. Brenner! Have I mentioned how much I love Norco?!!

Officially sworn in on Friday and in the Norco Parade of Lights on Saturday! We had an absolute blast and loved the spectacular festive spirit Norco brings to every community event!
