CITY OF NORA SPRINGS TO HOST COMMUNITY KICK-OFF MEETING AND SURVEY FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The City of Nora Springs invites the public to attend a community input meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall at 45 Hawkeye Avenue. The City has begun the process of developing a new Comprehensive Development Plan, which will establish a guiding vision for the City for the next 20 years. The City encourages all that are able to attend. This is an excellent opportunity to help form the foundation for the community’s future. Input gathered at this meeting will be an important part to develop the contents of the plan.
Additionally, the City is conducting a community survey to gather community input on what is most important to residents. The public, those who live and/or work in Nora Springs, are encouraged to share their opinions, concerns, and desires for the community. The community survey results will be incorporated into the City’s new Comprehensive Development Plan. The Plan will set goals and priorities for economic development, house, parks and open space, infrastructure, land use and development, and city services. The survey can be accessed at:
